Linda & Family Have a Lovely Time in the Borderlands

Journalist and editor Linda Jones, her partner Neil Aitchison and their twin daughters came to visit us for a weekend in October and had a great time!  We've just put together a summary of the family's trip and what they thought of their experience in the North Wales Borderlands:

They spendFamily blogger trip their first night in Celyn Villa and thought that Pauline and Les who run the B&B were "marvellous".

Next stop was Llangollen where they went on a horse drawn boat trip as well as taking a walk along the Pontcysyllte aqueduct.

Linda and her family stayed in Ruthin Castle on the Sunday, what a magical place that they described as "outstanding".

I think the family's favourite activity was Ruthin Gaol where they learnt all about the dark history of its prisoners, which is "unmissable".

Finally it was off to Moel Famau for a guided tour before having lunch at Caffi Florence with cakes that are "heaven on a plate!"

We want to thank Linda and her family for giving the North Wales Borderlands such a great review!  We're so happy they enjoyed their trip and hope to see them all very soon.

You can read Linda's full review in her blog: Have a Lovely Time.
